Privacy
The short version: almost everything Sightrep knows stays on your phone. We don’t sell data, show ads, or use tracking or analytics.
On your phone
Your settings, drill levels, My Routine, training days, your safety-waiver acceptance (its version and the date and time), your license key, and a random ID for this phone. They stay on your phone. Clearing Safari’s or Chrome’s data for the site removes them (you’ll enter your key again).
On our server
- Leaderboard: the name you enter, your session scores, the kind of session and the date. Anyone using the leaderboard can see names and scores.
- License keys: a one-way scramble (hash) of your key, never the key itself, plus your phone’s random ID and when the key was activated or moved. It’s how one key stays on one phone at a time.
- Limits against abuse: your network (IP) address, kept briefly to limit repeated requests, then deleted automatically.
Payments
Gumroad sells Sightrep for us and handles your payment and sales tax. Your card details never reach us. As the seller, we receive your email address and purchase details from Gumroad, and use them only for your key and for support. See Gumroad’s privacy policy.
Eye Check (beta)
Eye Check is optional and off until you turn it on. It uses your front camera, and the video is processed on your phone. It never leaves your phone and is never recorded.
Who helps run Sightrep
Cloudflare hosts the app and this site, Neon stores the leaderboard and key records, Gumroad handles purchases and receipts, and Google Fonts provides the typefaces.
Ages
Sightrep is for athletes 16 and older, or younger with permission from a parent, guardian or coach.
Your choices
Email support@sightrep.app to remove your leaderboard name and scores or your key record, or with any question about your data.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
